The Sales Executive will sell to both the large installed customer base in the region and also to exploit the opportunity to acquire new customers in Japan mainly.

The Sales Executive will sell Prophet software solutions and a range of Professional Services associated with Prophet. This is a quota carrying sales role.

Targets will be based on licence sales of Prophet , on associated Professional Services sales and on associated Managed Services.

Commissions are earned on Software, add-on software and a large range of packaged and bespoke professional and managed services.

This Sales Executive role reports to the Snr Vice President of Insurance in APAC. Office base will be Tokyo, Japan.

Requirements The Sales Executive will be expected to:

  • Manage the accounts and the territory Japan mainly.
  • To meet the sales revenue targets and objectives.
  • Create and execute account plans for users in the assigned territory The Sales Executive will be expected to have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:
  • The ability to sell, concepts and solutions at senior level.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience and have worked in an enterprise IT vendor environment especially in Japan region, having some actuarial experience and relationships in the Japan region, and selling insurance application software as a hunter sales will be preferred.
  • Experience of working in a team selling environment and in/with virtual teams.
  • Experience of working with partner organisations
  • An understanding of the business issues of the life and non-life insurance industry
  • An understanding of actuarial based Risk Management solutions
  • To be fluent in Japanese and also business English.
