A global fintech company is seeking an Enterprise Partnerships Manager to drive the growth of its digital payments business in Japan.

In this role, you will manage relationships with major merchants and strategic partners while identifying new commercial opportunities across the fintech, payments, and merchant ecosystem. You will develop initiatives that increase payment adoption, transaction volume, customer usage, and market visibility while working closely with payment providers, acquirers, marketing partners, and internal teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise account management, or customer success professional to take ownership of high-value merchant relationships and contribute directly to the growth of a global payments business in Japan.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with large merchants and strategic partners in Japan.
• Manage, strengthen, and expand relationships with key enterprise accounts.
• Create commercial strategies to increase digital payment adoption, customer usage, and transaction volume.
• Identify new partnership and revenue opportunities across the fintech and payments ecosystem.
• Plan and execute promotional and marketing campaigns with merchant partners.
• Negotiate partnership, marketing, and commercial agreements with external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with payment providers, merchant acquirers, and internal teams to deliver partnership initiatives.
• Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to expand strategic merchant relationships.
• Support the continued growth and market visibility of the company's payment services in Japan.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in sales, business development (BD), account management, or customer success (CS).
• Experience managing major merchants, strategic partners, or enterprise clients.
• Knowledge of fintech, digital payments, merchant acquiring, or inbound tourism.
• Demonstrated ability to develop commercial opportunities and grow strategic accounts.
• Bachelor's degree.
