ERM is seeking consultants to support the development of next-generation data centers.



In today's business landscape, data is a key source of competitive advantage, and data centers have evolved beyond infrastructure to become strategic hubs for enterprises. Leveraging global expertise, ERM supports a wide range of clients-from major domestic corporations to cutting-edge technology firms-in solving complex challenges.



This position contributes to the advancement of social infrastructure from a sustainability perspective, including energy efficiency optimization and the integration of renewable energy.




Main Responsibilities

• Conduct data center due diligence and support site selection activities

• Develop project concepts and define facility requirements

• Provide sustainability support, including energy efficiency initiatives and renewable energy integration

• Manage projects, including schedule, issue, and quality management

• Support Partners and Project Managers in project delivery activities

• Prepare reports, presentation materials, and meeting minutes

• Coordinate and manage technical activities with domestic and international design firms, contractors, and vendors




Requirements

• Practical experience with data center facilities and infrastructure

• Experience preparing reports and presentation materials

• Native-level Japanese language proficiency

• Business




Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills to structure complex issues


• Excellent communication skills to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders


• Ability to work autonomously while valuing teamwork

Nice to Have:

• Certifications in architecture or facility-related fields (e.g., Architect, Building Services Engineer, Chief Electrical Engineer, Construction Management Engineer)


• Experience participating in meetings or client interactions in English


• Consulting firm experience


• Knowledge of major cloud platforms and IT systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
