Project Manager, Officer
Competencies
  • University degree and 4-6 years equivalent experience
  • Financial services experience/strong market knowledge
  • Presentations skills
  • Project management skills (certification highly desirable)
  • Strong verbal, written and numeracy skills
  • Good liaison skills across all levels of the organization
  • Business fluency in Japanese oral and written
  • Software: Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio

Individual Accountabilities
  • Manage projects of varying size and complexity. (Projects impacting 1+ region, 1+ business line, 2+ work streams, medium to high virtual distance impact, related to an existing or new product with existing or a new technology platform)
  • Create and manage necessary documentation for assigned projects/initiatives
  • Has authority to oversee the coordination with internal teams, IT, business and vendor staff in issue research, resolution, and action item completion
  • Act as a project escalation point for issues to proactively identify, research, manage and resolve issues
  • Accountable for collecting, reviewing and categorizing data to support trending, research, and planning
  • Facilitate communication with business sponsor and stakeholders, which may cross business units and include offshore partners and outside vendors
  • Track and report issues, resolutions, and areas of risk
  • Compile reporting for management, project stakeholders and project sponsors
  • Participate in on-going training and development
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes and distribute meeting minutes for more complex projects\\issues
  • Identify and report all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities
  • Act in accordance with Risk Excellence as part of our Way Ahead foundation
  • Perform other duties as required

Shared Accountabilities
  • Work in conjunction with individuals on the team as well as other internal and external departments to ensure comprehensive completion of total project life cycle for all assigned projects
