Our Group aims to become the standard bearer and industry leader in the European retail insurance market, building on our existing base of 50 million retail clients, out of an overall total of 72 million.

 

The Group Private Equity Department is the Head Office Department in charge of running the Private Equity (“PE”) investments at centralized Group level.

 

Group Private Equity Department is composed of 2 Units:

  • Group Private Equity Portfolio Construction;
  • Group Private Equity Portfolio Management.

 

Group Private Equity Department has the role of direction, supervision, coordination and control on all Group Companies performing directly and / or indirectly PE investments.

The Group Private Equity Portfolio Management, reporting to the Head of the Private Equity Department, is in charge of ensuring an active PE portfolio management at centralized Group level.

Main tasks

Support the Group Private Equity Portfolio Management Team in:

  • Tax & Legal Due Diligence on new PE investments;
  • PE Portfolio management, monitoring and valuation on the existing PE portfolio;
  • PE performance measurement on the existing PE portfolio.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics (or alternatively in Mathematics, Physic, Actuarial Sciences); specialization in Finance/M&A would be a plus;
  • Basic Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS); accounting education, specific accounting experience would be a plus.

Experience and skills

  • Problem solving attitude;
  • Take over responsibility at a very early stage, flexibility;
  • Proactive and strong team working oriented;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word/PowerPoint/Excel) is also a prerequisite;
  • Fluency in both English and Italian, written and spoken, is a requisite. Good knowledge of other languages would represent a plus.
