The Italin BlackRock marketing department, based in Milan, is responsible for all marketing and communication activities within Italy across all client segments (end-investors, advisors, institutional investors) and business lines (Retail active funds, ETF and Index Investing and Institutional Client Business) for the brands BlackRock and iShares by BlackRock. This team works closely with the central marketing teams in Budapest, London and New York as well as local agencies. The Head of Marketing for Italy reports into the EMEA CMO in London.

ROLE PROFILE

Key Responsibilities:

This individual will be working with other members of the marketing team in Italy to support all business lines and client segments from a digital marketing perspective. The role supports the iShares and BlackRock brands, delivering against the marketing agenda and goals. Key responsibilities are:

  • Support all digital activities across all client segments
  • Own the digital calendar, planning and monitoring the Italian digital activities, working in collaboration with the other marketing team members
  • Acts as liaison to broader organization (marketing, sales) establishing ongoing communication in order to ensure all digital actions and contents are as relevant as possible
  • Manage websites and mobile application working with central teams and external agencies. Implement new campaigns and landing pages, keep ongoing contents up to date and monitor the performances; ensure the accurancy of materials and liaise with central teams to fix potential issues
  • Maintain local wealth digital platform, liasing with external vendors and implementing a set of standard analysis on key stats (by client/campaign, Asset class, …)
  • Audit and optimise web content with regards to SEO and SEM to maximize traffic and conversion through core digital marketing tactics working with our internal teams and agencies
  • Be team expert on email marketing platform, create automated email campaigns based on Oracle Eloqua. Create and perform A/B testing to optimize email sends
  • Ensure onboarding programs of new contacts, collaborating also with the central CRM team
  • Support the development and implementation of client-specific marketing campaigns, including dedicated microsites, collaborating also with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Assist in developing effective display campaigns, including banner ads, and retargeting
  • Contribute to deliver, in collaboration with the other team members and external vendors, digital events (eg. webinars, events in streaming)
  • Act as project manager of specific projects (eg. Gamification, …) working collaboratively with the other team members and external agencies
  • Monitor and track performance for regular and ad-hoc reporting (e.g. with Adobe Analytics, other standard tools and internal tools) in collaboration with central teams
  • Provide insights and recommendations for areas of opportunity and improvement across all digital channels, take follow up actions to increase performances testing also new  formats/programs
  • Work with compliance to ensure approved contents  
  • Review digital materials for accuracy and timeliness of contents on proprietary and third parties web sites

You should have:

Skills

  • proficient skills in using Content Management Systems (e.g. TeamSite/Opentext)
  • html knowledge is a plus
  • solid image editing skills
  • knowledge on how to use a CRM
  • experience on delivering email programs through Eloqua
  • hands-on approach but with regulatory requirements in mind
  • strong project management capabilities
  • data literate and able to use analytics to help drive decisions (e.g. for Adobe Analytics)
  • solid understanding of SEO and SEM to help improve the pages long-term
  • Italian as native language and fluent in English
  • proficient with MS Office and digital workflow tools
  • knowledge and/or demonstrated experience working with clients related to dedicated marketing campaignexpert in identifying target audiences and delivering digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

Experience

  • Degree in marketing and communications or professional qualification
  • 2- 3 years’ experience in marketing with a strong focus on digital marketing
  • eCommerce Marketing, project management, web analytics, and reporting experience
  • Knowing Eloqua or something comparable as a marketing automation program and Adobe Analytics would be beneficial
  • Experience in working with agencies, third parties vendors and clients
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Finance or any other quantitatively focused major of study
