Product Owner
Description
As a Product Owner, you will be expected to:
  • Become an expert on the relevant products and business areas
  • Work closely with people across the company, including development, QA, product marketing and professional services
  • Develop product roadmaps, plan releases, develop and prioritize requirements
Key Accountabilities:
  • Interface with business development and product marketing to gather and analyze business requirements
  • Create product specifications and define detailed requirements
  • Maintain the product roadmap and plan releases
  • Work closely with R&D in an agile environment, planning sprint, creating user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize and groom the development story backlog
  • Collaborate with technical writers for product documentation such as user guide, operational guide and release notes
  • Provide internal (and sometimes customer-facing) training
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders including senior management across various areas of CME including Technology, Business development and PMO areas
Requirements:
  • Proven product management experience for B2B or enterprise software
  • Able to understand the big picture, yet drill down to the underlying details
  • Hands-on with broad technical knowledge - able to discuss detailed technical topics with developers
  • Understanding of the application life-cycle and related methodologies
  • experience in prioritizing features and planning product releases
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • fluent English, verbal and written
  • Confident in presenting to different audiences
  • College degree required
