Job Description

Ownership of allocated tasks within the team. Consistently demonstrates exceptional internal and external service with clients, along with the core values: Integrity, Commitment and Performance. Each member of staff has responsibility to adhere to our policies and procedures. In particular, to ensure operational controls are carried out in accordance with agreed procedures, to ensure the ongoing mitigation of business risk.

KPI Reporting

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly regulatory returns including monthly NAV return and MMIF reporting
  • Preparing monthly KPI reporting.
  • Preparation of monthly client reporting
  • Ensure errors or problems are identified and investigated on a timely basis

Financial Reporting

  • Assist wider team on any audit related tasks
  • Prepare the audit files in advance of audit start dates
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements
  • Develop relationships with other internal departments, clients and auditors.

Other

  • Preparation of fund distribution calculations
  • Respond to information requests from other 3rd parties including tax agents (no specific tax knowledge required)
  • To comply with appropriate internal controls within area of responsibility
  • Ensuring that operational checklists are followed
  • Prepare and maintain the procedures within the team
     

Qualifications

Required

  • Degree in business studies, accounting or similar.
  • Intention to study ACA / ACCA or be part-qualified
  • Excellent communication skills and team-working skills.

Desirable

  • MS Excel and MS Word experience.
     

Competencies

  • Proficiency in MS packages with strong Excel experience essential.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet and manage strict deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service focus and an ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit a high degree of reliability and flexibility and a positive attitude and be counted on to participate as required
  • Excellent communications skills.
