Outsourcing Oversight Officer
We are recruiting an officer to join the expanding Outsourcing Oversight team within State Street Fund Services Ireland Limited (SSFSIL). The successful candidate will report to the Vice President within the team. The main responsibilities of the team are to provide support to the Outsource Oversight Manager and Outsource Arrangement Owners in carrying out their duties and to carry out on-going monitoring of all outsourcing controls as outlined in the SSFSIL Outsourcing Oversight policy and procedures.

Responsible for the following activities within the Outsourcing Oversight team:
  • Support the management of the team in implementing effective oversight of outsourcing activities.
  • Ensure controls and procedures are followed and evidenced accurately and timely.
  • Report and monitor the business Outsourcing Arrangement Owners (OAOs) in the performance of the oversight of outsourced activities.
  • Carry out allocated controls within the team, e.g. maintenance of outsourcing inventory, testing on oversight controls, due diligence planning.
  • Assist with the creation of monthly reporting to SSFSIL governance forums including reporting for the SSFSIL Executive Committee
  • Assist management in preparing, updating of procedures, delivering training to OAOs and client management.
  • Managing change or projects as the team requires it.
  • Assist management in responding to Regulator queries, on-site visit preparation and follow-on requests for information.
  • Assisting other ad-hoc task across the team.
  • Establish good working relationships with key functional teams across the business and with outsourced service providers.
  • Maintain the highest level of personal integrity in all dealings thereby mitigating reputational risk to GS and its customers
  • Provide regular feedback and dialogue to ensure optimal employee engagement
    Qualifications
    • Primary Degree or a Professional or Accounting qualification or equivalent.
    • Previous experience working in the provision of fund administration services or have worked in another aspect of the Financial Services Industry for a number of years.

    Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
    • Fund Accounting or client operations experience
    • Excellent Communication, Organisational and Report Writing skills.
    • Strong problem resolution and analytical abilities.
    • Ability to manage conflicting priorities
