Who we are looking for
Capable of providing a high-quality service to external and internal clients and investors you will have an opportunity to build on your existing experience in Transfer Agency across several tasks performed by the Governance Team.
Has a broad understanding of Transfer Agency and Fund Administration, you will have a good knowledge of the relevant regulations impacting investor accounts servicing.
Business writing and analytical skills are essential as is a track record in investigating complex issues and providing concise reports and written responses to external and internal clients and investors.

What you will be responsible for
As Transfer Agency -(Registration Governance Team-Anti Money Laundering)-Senior Associate you will

Duties and Responsibilities
Client Due Diligence Sampling & Testing
  • Collate and/or QC all operational and AML documents in line with current AML requirements for all samples requested during testing
  • Examining due diligence documents and information on the customer file based on specific trigger events, making sure that they are adequate and up to date
  • Communicate with external and internal clients and stakeholders on sample requests
  • Understand the importance of identifying and correcting errors in sampling

Internal / External Audit Coordination
  • Assisting in all aspects of audit work
  • Identifying, researching and helping to resolve audit issues
  • Providing clear and high quality written and verbal communication with audit stakeholders
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of AML and KYC requirements

Complaint and Incident Management
  • Records, tracks and analyses complaints using Sharepoint
  • Monitors escalation of incidents and completion of all incident reporting
  • Ensures that complaints are reported in line with policy and regulation, adhering to all policy and regulatory deadlines for complaint responses and resolution

Transaction Monitoring
  • Daily analysis of all reported transactional information against the customer profile to identify risks, trends and potential suspicious activity
  • Ensuring transaction reviews are tracked, recorded, and stored in line with internal policy and procedure
  • Formal escalation of potential suspicious transactions following agreed guidelines and procedures
  • Engagement with relevant stakeholders including Compliance representatives and client relationship managers

PEP & Sanctions Screening
  • Assist in day to day tasks relating to the IFDS sanctions systems ensuring that all daily and weekly screening tasks are completed as scheduled
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and investigation of all cases referred and reviewed prior to further escalation to Compliance
  • Obtain documentary evidence of all investigations and ensure effective record keeping
  • Adhere to appropriate standards, procedures and service levels for all PEP and sanctions screening processes
  • Highlight any system or process issues working to resolution with all stakeholders

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Technical Competencies (Experience, where stated, an advantage)
  • Experience of audit and due diligence sampling and testing
  • Experience of compiling reports and writing complex letter responses
  • Experience investigating Transaction Monitoring alerts
  • Experience/Knowledge of screening for sanctions and PEPs
  • Experience of dealing with complaints and in managing incidents
  • Working knowledge MS Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Sharepoint and PowerPoint
