Acctg & Reconcil Analyst
Job Description Reconcile daily and/or monthly portfolio cash, holdings, market value, and reporting activities. Perform daily research and clearance of reconciliation items, which include trading issues, income variances, corporate actions, client activity, and derivatives. Review and resolve problems for the assigned portfolios and communicate with various internal and external departments.
Responsibilities Reconcile daily and/or monthly portfolio cash, holdings, and market value. Perform daily research and clearance of reconciliation items, which include trading issues, income variances, corporate actions, client activity, and derivatives. Provide various reports/reconciliations to custodian/client as per their requirements on cash, holdings, market value, accruals, performance, etc. Review and resolve problems for the assigned portfolios and communicate with various internal and external departments. Support any internal and external auditors during audits.
Attend huddles, team meetings, trainings, and coaching.
Participate in the standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications Basic Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) knowledge.
Knowledge in Accounting and Capital market/investment products.
Must have good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, along with being an effective team player.
Master degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Must have sound analytical skills.
Knowledge of investment tools (Bloomberg), reconciliation tools (Frontier), and accounting systems (GIM) will be an added advantage.
