Head - Sales (Coal), aimed at driving the growth & profitability agenda for the business. Location; India - Mumbai, Salary: USD90,000 - USD105,000 per annum:

We are currently working with a global trading and distribution company with presence worldwide. They are looking for a senior coal trader with sales and marketing experience to lead and take charge as the Head of Sales in India, Mumbai office. The incumbent will be responsible for overall sales of the coal business for Mumbai.

Responsibilities

  • Establish business strategy in discussion with the vertical head and function heads and drive deployment across sales functions.

  • Monitor market trends and identify suitable opportunities for sales development.

  • Monitor competitor strategy and bring in required market insights that will aid internal decision making.

  • Drive identification and deployment of strategic initiatives in line with the business priorities.

  • Strengthen & develop customer/supplier acquisition and management process and practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience of around 10 - 15 years trading in Coal.

  • Prior work experience in global commodity trading, preferably Coal.

  • Experience in the Indian market is required and the person should have dealt with Indian customers at a senior (decision making level).

  • Good connections with key customers/suppliers globally and within India.

  • Proven team handling skills. Ability to take peers and team along in various changes management initiatives.

  • Confident and has the foresight to expand the business.
