Department Overview:
The consumer Lending Technology group consists of Home lending, Auto and Platform support for various applications across retail/mortgage lending businesses. From achieving sustainable homeownership, managing credit, purchasing a car to financing college, Wells Fargo Consumer Lending cares about our customers. Today, our diversified team provides home lending, auto loans, and student loans to more than 30 million customers

About the Role:
Should be able to work independently on projects and enhancements playing the roles of Individual contributor & Lead towards development, design & Architecture responsibilities
Should be able to design the solution for business problem
Responsible to guide the team on the technical challenges
Individual contributor in Agile squad for SysDev function
Analyze business requirements, identify and commuinciate requirement gaps.
Review requirement gaps raised by the team
Define and develop Test Plans and Test strategies for different testing projects
Review and sign-off the Test Coverage and Requirements Traceability Matrix
Execute test cases and report test results
Raise defects in defect tracking tool
Solid experience in reviewing and preparing Sizing & Estimation using industry estimation practices.
Should be able to provide innovative solutions to the problem areas of application/process.
Should be able to collect and track Metrics as defined and directed.
Should be able to act as a Mentor/Guide to the team members.
Should be able to manage and implement Effort Tracking in an Enterprise Project Management tool
Highlight delivery issues to the manager for resolution
Should be accountable and responsible to all the project deliverables that he/she is working and accountable for the deliverables that the other team members are working upon
Strict adherence to timelines and focus on deliverables

Primary Skill :
Looking for a senior technology specialist with 10+ years Java experience who can lead and deliver high quality and cost effective solution on The individual will be a hands-on person and will also play a individual contributor towards application deliverables. They should be able to Selenium Automation testing of web-based/client-server/mainframes applications and backend testing
Develop/Enhance automation frameworks, defining/enhancing the coding standards using Selenium
Define and drive automation test strategy and Test Data Strategy"
Develop, maintain and execute automation scripts as requested and working with the technology and business counterparts in EGS/U.S.
For Automation should be able to efficiently develop new functions, debug functions in library files, and guide team members and enhance/customize existing framework and provide ideas to improve efficiencies.
Should have experience on any version control tool.
Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Agile methodology and QA processes and overall testing lifecycle.
Experienced Test Lead managing large projects or programs with multiple test resources
Should have expertise in Process Improvement/Reusable Components and have driven the Innovation Culture in prior teams
Hands on experience with Eclipse, SVN/CVS, JUnit, Maven
Strong debugging and problem solving skills with excellent understanding of system development methodologies, techniques and tools
Ability to collaborate effectively with others
Ability to work in distributed team environment
Experience working in a fast paced development environment, ability to work on multiple initiatives, strong multi-tasking skills
Ability to learn new systems, applications and technologies quickly
Very strong soft skills (written/oral communication, customer service, team player, self-starter, pro-active, problem solver, work independently without lot of direction)

Market Skills and Certifications

Secondary Skill :
Expertise in functional testing of web-based/client-server applications and backend testing
Expertise in other testing flavors such as database / Web Services / ETL will be an added advantage
Able to write complex queries with exposure to database testing
