Network Compliance Analyst
Job Description

The primary role of the Analyst is to act as the liaison between the Global Network Services team and the Security, Risk, Audit and Control organizations in order to provide the best network technical framework and controls to meet requirements. Perform technical analysis of those requirements and execute controls to ensure repeatable processes are in place to satisfy Security, Risk and Audit requirements. Accountable for ensuring that clear, concise requirements have been captured and supporting processes are consistently executed. Facilitate the development of all procedural documentation and manuals. Create, document and manage processes and procedures that govern Engineering and Operations.


  • Gather, analyze, document and manage Security, Audit, Risk and Control requirements (both functional and non-functional) for technology solutions that address business needs
  • Leverage existing or new tools and create repeatable processes and procedures to satisfy Security, Risk and Compliance requirements for the Global Network Services practice
  • Execute procedures in compliance with processes to maintain compliance with documented requirements
  • Leverage Technical Control Framework to ensure Global Network Services practices deliver the necessary controls to consistently and systematically meet requirements
  • Interface with Global Network Services' primary suppliers to ensure successful integration with the Technical Control Framework's processes and procedures
  • Optimization of Engineering and Operational processes
  • Ensure processes and procedure documentation for Engineering and Operations in the documentation repository is current and consistent
  • Leverage domain and analyst practice expertise to provide the most effective solutions to the business partners in the most efficient means possible - including selecting the appropriate analysis techniques and tools (process modeling, use cases, etc.) for each project or assignment
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with technology teams and business partners at management and end user levels

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field; or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in audit/compliance-related work
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of IT organizations systems and capabilities
  • Knowledge and ability to effectively use the appropriate process, tools, and methodologies to facilitate proactive management of audit compliance and process/procedure maintenance
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Network technologies and resources

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with IT process modeling
  • Familiarity working in an ITIL-centric IT organization
  • Experience working with the following tools: MS Office, Clarity, MS Visio, and ServiceNow
  • Familiarity working within a defined development life cycle methodology (e.g. CMMI, Ameriprise Quality Management System (AQMS)) environment
