Department Overview
Payments, Virtual Solutions, Innovation (PVSI) group aims to provide technology across Payments, Digital channels, Innovation Solutions (SWIFT, ACH, Wire, Credit Card, Debit Card, ATM, Branch, Contact Center, Commercial Card, Lockbox, Sweeps, Cash Flow, Deposits, Push2Card) in the form of Services, Solutions, Software, Products and helps PVSI CIO group to move forward in transforming the technology organization. This includes collaborating with Risk Management, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy, Shared Service and Infrastructure teams.
About the Role

Risk Control System (RCS) is a main frame application system that records account balances for most Wholesale accounts. It maintains intraday balances that are used by various payment applications. RCS application is a component in Payments manager suite of applications that are used for facilitating financial payments between wells fargo and its customers.

This role requires candidates to work on RCS (Risk control systems) application as a member of application development team.

Application Systems Engineer • In accordance with business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions. • Develops original and/or complex code, assists in preparing programming specifications, and completes programming tasks to maintain or modify current programs. • Provides coding guidance to less experienced staff. • Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts for assigned projects. Requires coordinating and working with teams between US and India.
Essential Qualifications
Candidate should have min of 10 years of programming experience in
  • C / ProC
  • Perl / Oracle Perl
  • C-Shell/ KornShell
  • SQLplus
  • Autosys
  • Subversion
  • MQ (Application client point of view)
  • TCP/IP Sockets

Primarily looking for Cobol Developers on Unix Platform

Desired Qualifications
  • 4 Yr.'s Bachelor's Degree in Technology (or) Graduation/Post Graduation in Computer science or equivalent.
