• Working with dealing desk, corporate actions team very closely and understanding the business from the horse's mouth will give you great exposure into the world of Dealers.

What you'll do

• You will need to quickly determine the severity of the issue with regard to business impact and technical complexity, provide a fix or work around. If necessary, assess who needs to be involved and escalate to the relevant resolving group.
• Maintain accurate & up to date records of Application Support documentation and knowledge base at all times. Seek improvements to ensure that lessons are learnt from incidents and that any work required preventing a future re-occurrence.
• Ensure that the relevant IT Teams have performed the proper root cause analysis, documented the workarounds and known errors, the issue has actually been resolved.
•Deliver clear and accurate communication during all incidents.
• Ability to participate in technical conversations with various technical support group

Who you'll be

The skill we want you to come with:
• Knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Knowledge of troubleshooting via log files.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of financial products

You are awesome if you know these already:
• Knowledge of troubleshooting financial trading platforms.
• Knowledge of Bash or other Unix shell scripting language
• Knowledge of Swift messaging.
