We are looking for a
Fixed Asset Financial Accounting Controller
for our Budapest Office

The Financial Control Group (FCG) is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm. FCG prepares external financial reports for public filings and regulators.

For internal reporting FCG, along with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), summarizes, plans and forecasts the organization's financial position, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future revenues, expenses and earnings. FCG is comprised of Business Unit Controllers, Infrastructure Controllers, Accounting, Regulatory and Reporting groups, and Valuation Review.

Responsibilities:

Makes sure books and records are correct both in General Ledger and Fixed Asset Sub Ledger
Prepares Balance Sheet and Expense account reconciliations between General Ledger and Fixed Asset Sub Ledger
Prepares Roll Forward and other ad hoc reports for American region with analysis and commentary as part of the monthly reporting
Coordinates with local controllers and supports Business Partner teams to ensure correct book-keeping of firm-wide Fixed Asset expenses
Performs monthly FA maintenances and reviews in the FA Register during month-end close for American companies
Hosts monthly calls and follows up local controllers and Business Partners to guarantee the completeness of month-end activities
Prepares Balance Sheet and Expense account reconciliations for internal (3Rs) and external audit purposes
Posts recurring and ad-hoc journal entries into the General Ledger
Involvement in ad-hoc global projects



Qualifications:



Skills required:

Completed Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Finance or Business related discipline
At least 2 years of experience related to finance or accounting
Solid knowledge of finance or accounting concepts
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Accuracy, attention to detail, good organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
