Citi's EMEA Regulatory Reporting Centre in Budapest is a key part of Finance function of Citigroup.  It is Citi's pioneering centre on a global scale where local regulatory reporting professionals work together in a central location, to ensure consistent quality of local regulatory reporting.

What will you do as a Financial Reporting Manager?

  • Responsible for the UK Broker Dealer Capital Adequacy and Large Exposure related reporting and monitoring;
  • Team management of 8-10; responsibilities include recruitment, goal setting, performance evaluation;
  • Oversee and manage the preparation of the daily, monthly and quarterly reports;
  • Maintenance and further development of key controls (reconciliations, variance analysis and mapping reviews);
  • Cooperate with multiple departments (including Financial Control, Risk Departments, etc.);
  • Check and ensure that procedures, policies and responsibility matrixes are applied to adequately cover rules and regulations;
  • Monitoring the publications of European Central Bank and European Banking Authority;
  • Prepare report mapping logics and rules set up in new system implementation project;
  • Ongoing review and development of processes to increase efficiency.

Who can become a Financial Reporting Manager:
  • University/College graduate in Accounting/Finance;
  • Fluent English speaker;
  • 8-10 years of work experience in financial reporting / risk management / auditing roles in the banking sector;
  • Experience with capital adequacy-related reports;
  • Knowledge of the Basel accords;
  • Team management experience;
  • Advanced MS Excel user.
