Risk Management protects the firm from exposure to losses resulting from defaults by our lending and trading counterparties.

Position Summary

Morgan Stanley Credit Risk Management Department (CRM) is seeking a candidate for the Credit Project team based in Budapest. Credit Project Team is responsible for the successful planning, execution and control of a portfolio of large scale, complex projects in CRM, enforcing project governance to align IT projects with business strategy to support department objectives and covering business needs, as well as coordinating firm wide initiatives including FHC governance, BASEL, and Regulatory requirements.



Responsibilities

  • Strong partnership with stakeholders to lead the definition of business requirements
  • Documenting business requirements, use cases, procedures and process flows to a high level of quality and following agreed standards
  • Working with delivery partners and clients to ensure requirements are comprehensive and clear
  • Documenting and executing functional testing
  • Reporting the status of the project to stakeholders and escalating issues, risks and dependencies where necessary
  • Opportunities to manage key strategic projects or components of work
  • Strong collaboration with the NY based Change Management team on global initiatives


Qualifications:


Skills desired

  • 5+ years working experience, at least 2+ years in Project Manager role, or similar
  • Strong background in project management (planning, risk assessment, execution, delivery) or business analysis within a Risk Change function or similar
  • Understanding of credit risk measures and framework is advantageous
  • Strong academic background to at least degree level together with intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent verbal, written and visualization communication skills
  • Strong analytical capability, with close attention to detail
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders including senior business clients and IT
  • A proven track record of timely and successful delivery
  • Knowledge of SQL and database tools is desirable but not mandatory
