Budapest Return to Work Programme 2019

Returning to work after an extended career break can be a daunting prospect. As part of Morgan Stanley’s on-going efforts to support experienced professionals throughout the various stages of their careers, the Firm is running the Return To Work Programme Budapest. This programme is a paid 12-week internship for professionals who have taken a career break and are looking to re-enter the workforce on a permanent basis.

Placement and Duration

The programme is based principally at the Firm's Budapest offices and will begin on Monday 25 th February 2019. Participants will be placed based on their skills and interests. A limited number of opportunities exist across the Firm in Finance, Operations, Risk Management, Fixed Income and Technology. Participants may receive an offer of permanent employment at the end of the programme, but this is not guaranteed.


- Successful candidates are likely to have been on a career break for two or more years and have experience within financial services, professional services or another directly relevant area

- Interested in returning to the workforce on a permanent basis

- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

- Problem solvers with superb analytical skills
