The primary purpose of this position is to support the handling of customer contacts received through inbound /outbound telephone calls, including the following responsibilities:
  • To deliver revenue target of treasury product as agreed and to support multi-skill's product selling
  • To ensure delivery of a consistent and superior Customer Experience
  • Develop relationship with existing and potential customer
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to new joined team members
  • Account-related enquiries and Customer segment that require in-depth knowledge of a specific product including SFC regulated products and/or service or that require certification
  • Referrals to branch for new and existing Customers
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Strengthen existing Customer relationships through Customer retention, problem resolution
  • Responsible for Wealth Management's Marketing campaign on both inbound & outbound support

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided at all times (esp. related to FX/Equity/Structure Market information) and that customers' consumer banking needs are fully met in a professional and competent manner
  • Maximize the sales of the FX/ Equity/Structure bank's products, and to meet/exceed specific targets where appropriate
  • Generate business through cross selling to existing customers; local sales promotions; and make referrals to branch for new and existing customers
  • Ensure that, whenever possible, cross sell opportunities are fully exploited in dealing with existing and new customers
  • Perform attrition gating
  • Meet productivity standard
  • Meet talk time standard
  • Conduct the FX reactivation list
  • Capture the nature of customer contacts
  • Assist in performing operations control duties
  • Comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and, in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager
  • Comply with all relevant policies and procedures covering regulatory, local and group requirements
  • Ensure that control procedures outlined in various BOCs or Procedure Manuals are fully implemented, and ensure staff compliance with the same
  • Comply with the control requirements in the laid down procedures or Manual relevant to your job responsibilities
  • Assist grooming and training of new sales staff

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree holder
  • Solid experience in selling FX products
  • Understand the FX/Equity/Structure market dynamics
  • Be fully conversant and up-to-date with retail products and market knowledge and to have knowledge of various products offered by other division/subsidiaries
  • Keep abreast of what is happening in the financial world
