Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
- Conduct end-to-end cyber incident response, threat hunting, digital forensics, and malware investigations.
- Utilize and manage security detection, analysis, and response platforms, including EDR, SIEM, SOAR, DLP, and cloud security services.
- Apply advanced reasoning and an attacker mindset to investigate complex incidents, analyze data, and reach sound conclusions.
- Prepare clear, concise technical reports and documentation detailing investigation findings, remediation steps, and incident responses.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate security actions and enhance the organization's defense posture.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A recognized university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity functions with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in cyber incident investigation and response.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISP, C|HFI, ECIH, GCIH, GCFA, or equivalent credentials.
- Solid understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework or other relevant security frameworks.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Mandarin is a plus.
