Initially partner with experienced colleagues on introducing Mercer’s MPF proposition to potential clients and developing relationship with existing clients. Grow to focus on a target prospect list, utilizing the support from the subject matter experts in the team and administration team to create exciting and high-quality sales collateral. Be responsible for enhancing materials and sales effectiveness, and achieve this with help and guidance from team members. Leverage on Mercer’s network to find prospects, and contribute ideas to raise Mercer’s media profile in the subject.

Duties:

  • Initially partner with experienced colleagues on introducing Mercer’s MPF proposition to potential clients and developing relationship with existing clients.
  • Grow to focus on a target prospect list, utilizing the support from the subject matter experts in the team and administration team to create exciting and high-quality sales collateral. Be responsible for enhancing materials and sales effectiveness, and achieve this with help and guidance from team members.
  • Leverage on Mercer’s network to find prospects, and contribute ideas to raise Mercer’s media profile in the subject.
  • Report on prospect pipeline to the MPF initiative leader, and contribute to sales and marketing strategy on this topic.

Requirements:

  • Have worked with an MPF provider in a business development or customer relations capacity bringing some experience of the MPF pension regime, own network of industry contacts and the MPFA, awareness of current and past trends that will impact on the success of the MPF system for Hong Kong.
  • Able to build rapport with buyers and decision makers, collaborate closely with different internal teams in Mercer. Be organized and a self-starter.
  • Participate and adhere to Mercer’s sales effectiveness program, and reporting requirements around pipeline and client strategy. We place high importance on two-way communication with team members.
  • Work experience: around 5 years in a business development or sales role, with experience in financial services and HR segment.
  • Language requirements: Strong spoken and written English and Cantonese. Fluency in Mandarin, Korean and Japanese will be a plus.
