Mission

Responsibilities

  • Support the Regional Head of Treasury across all Asia legal entities and currencies in:


o - The establishment of liquidity risk framework and policies, ensuring oversight on all Asian Treasuries

- The assessment of liquidity risks and setting up appropriate remediation actions
- The establishment of intraday liquidity governance, rules and optimizing respective processes

  • Support the development of Treasury activities, managing projects related to the business as well as regulatory developments
  • Liaise with various internal teams and departments to:


- Facilitate strategic discussions;
- Ensure effective follow up and monitoring of regulatory compliance;
- Ensure smooth operation of day-to-day Treasury activities as well as projects
  • Support the Regional Head of treasury in his role of first line of defense, ie, managing and being accountable for Treasury's operational risk controls (including but not limited to market risk, counterparty risk, resilience, permanent supervision, legal and compliance)
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
  • Proactively monitor and address all risk areas
  • Keep abreast of all relevant regulatory requirements, changes and constraints
  • Act as the first point of contact for matters in relation to Treasury and Liquidity Management, respond to regulators and managements' queries and requests


Profile

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the regulatory, assessment and management of Liquidity risk
  • Familiar with relevant regulatory framework in Asia
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communicator and strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with counterparties, peers and stakeholders across all seniorities
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
