Responsibilities

  • This position offers a diverse set of responsibilities and will work alongside senior management in Finance and business on reporting the monthly actual performance, forecast, and cost management. The candidate is a skilled financial profession with good knowledge in retail banking and wealth management products. The candidate requires interaction at all levels with both internal and external peers including business product teams, channel teams, and finance specialists.
  • Prepare the consolidated monthly reporting for overall Consumer Banking Group, management presentation, and trend and variance analysis
  • Develop business intelligence visualizations for key performance drivers and trends to management in visual format
  • Continuously improve and maintain HFM reporting and data extraction procedures
  • Responsible for all day-to-day activities of cost management for the entire Consumer Banking Group.
  • Partner with Business, Technology, HR, and other finance teams in managing overall CBG expenses and drive strategic cost initiatives.


Requirements
  • University degree in a Finance, Accountancy, Business, or related quantitative discipline, a recognized professional qualification will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting / finance / business planning, preferably gained in financial institutions
  • Sound knowledge of application software such as MS Access, Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Hyperion and Qlikview is a plus
  • Self-motivated, with ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Attentiveness to details, with strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and project management skills
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
