Vice President – Finance (Corporate Services - Office Facilities and Projects)
Job Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the Head of Corporate Services Department, Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd (HKEX)
  • Assists the Head in overseeing of all areas of Corporate Services including the M&E (including AV) facilities management & property services provision, strategic policy development & planning in facilities, support data centre and office, handling of Senior Management's coordination matters and Corporate Services Projects
  • Review functions and operations of the existing M&E (including AV) facilities management & property services provision at corporate level for continuous improvement
  • To supervise AVPs and Associates in M&E (including AV) and facilities management and property services systems improvement, alternations and additions works to ensure that they could be completed on time and with good quality
  • Experience in handling M&E (including AV) facilities and property services projects and have knowledge of relevant statutory requirements
  • To assist in annual operation budget preparation, procurement management and vendor management according to the existing policies and procedures
  • To communicate with senior management on the operations and management of property services and facilities systems as required
  • To develop as a core function of Corporate Services team and to organize business resources to achieve the best servicing and supporting functions
  • To be responsible for the decision-making process as related to changes that are needed to adapt both to external and internal factors that impact M&E (including AV) facilities and property services provision
  • 24-hour on call is required
Job Requirements:
  • Member of Professional institutes with relevant chartered qualification
  • Degree holder in related Engineering disciplines, Surveying, Building Services Engineering or Facilities Management
  • At least 10-15 years solid experience in facilities management, property services, M&E (including AV) services and possessing relevant working experience in the operation of large scale facilities infrastructure
  • Minimum 8 years of people management experience with direct report as their performance manager
  • Experience in handling M&E (including AV) facilities and property services incidents and should also possess the ability to analyze problems and provide immediate solutions
  • Experience in projects delivery in the M&E (including AV) and property services are also essential for the position and should also possess relevant experience in handling projects in corporate wide level
  • Strong leadership, well organized and excellent stakeholder management
  • Experience and knowledge of change, problem and incident management
  • Demonstrate communication skill in presentation, open discussion and team coaching
  • Self-motivated with a professional approach to corporate M&E facilities and property services, and have good communication skills including abilities to deal with senior management levels of staffs
  • Financial understanding in annual budgeting, Capex and Opex concepts
  • Knowledge of latest technology of M&E (including AV) Facilities, Facilities Management systems and property services related systems
  • Fast learn and act as the subject matter expert across all aspect in Project and Facilities Management
  • Proven ability to identify risk, put in place preventative measures and effectively able to respond to risk incidents
  • Adherence to compliance and code of conduct
  • Proven record in M&E (including AV) facilities & property facilities management preferably in multi-national corporations / listed companies
  • Ability to motivate the supporting team and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in performing the job duties
  • Well-organized and having good problem solving skill with analytical mind
  • Strong computer skills with good knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Fluency in verbal and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Self-motivated and capable to work under pressure
