VP, Specialist, Digital Business Development (Corporate Banking)

Objectives

  • Drive and scale in-country ecosystems partnership opportunities and manage partner relationships.
  • Execute Digital Strategy for HK IBG and work closely with client coverage team to rollout group digital services/ initiatives. Work with client coverage team on client level opportunities.
  • Drive digital origination by promoting our digital capabilities to both internal and external stakeholders through hosting of events, seminars, training and workshops.
  • Assuming the role of Project Manager, create joyful experience for customers and enhance productivity through leading customer journeys in IBG.
Responsibilities

  • Drive collaboration opportunities with new and existing ecosystem partners. Manage and scale outcome from existing ecosystem partners to accelerate customer acquisition and relationship deepening.
  • Explore & build propositions for new ecosystems model and develop digital use cases for targeted industry verticals to create customer values. Develop and manage internal and external networks to source new ecosystem partnership ideas and opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Technology and Operations, Legal and marketing team, etc. to launch new propositions and partnership.
  • Stay abreast with market trend in key sectors. Work with client coverage team to execute / support ecosystems & data-led opportunities.
  • Promote our digital capabilities to both internal and external stallholders through hosting of events, seminars, training and workshops.
  • Engage in the development and implementation of the digital strategy. Has a good understanding of customer needs, market trend and digital first mindset.
  • Drive customer journeys in IBG and oversee the smooth execution as Project Manager.
  • Drive the development of ecosystem-based solutions through partnerships.
  • Improve customer engagement and acquisition through scaling up digital use cases adoption.
  • Lead IBG customer journeys to create customer values and enhance productivity

Requirement

  • Degree holders in Finance, Business Administration or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years' working experience in banking / financial industry, or other industries with a large digital component.
  • Experience in frontline client coverage role would be an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of the needs of corporate clients, from large corporates to SMEs.
  • Conversant with the agile way of work and human centric design framework. Project management credential preferred.
  • Knowledge of Fintech landscape and trends to identify potential ecosystem partnership opportunities will be a plus.
  • Self-starter with high energy level and positive attitude.
  • Strong leadership skills, with ability and confidence to lead and execute projects/ initiatives which involve cross-functional teams. Project Management credentials will be a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal/ communication skills; able to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English. Presentable and able to deliver high quality and succinct presentation to customers, senior management and external stakeholders
  • Experience in managing corporate client relationships and understand customer's needs and pain points
  • Comfortable with technology including ability to translate business and customer needs to IT requirements
