Responsibilities

  • Work with District Head to formulate sales strategy. Reflect customer feedback & competitive situation, and recommend suggestions to District Head
  • Lead the sales team to deliver the set objectives and prepare sales & activity planning
  • Leverage the team expert to drive customer acquisition
  • Maintain business and social contacts to promote business & expanding customer base.
  • Identify staff competency gaps and weaknesses, recommend training & development plan, and track post-training improvement.
  • Develop and coach Team Leaders to improve performance and increase effectiveness.
  • Supervise Team Leaders day-to-day performance and maintain discipline.
  • Communicate clearly & promptly, and give motivation & support to staff to encourage their target achievement.
  • Build trust & morale among the team and solve any staff issues fairly.
  • Provide development & support new joiners of the team and ensure the completion of orientation program for new staff.
  • 1Ensure team to provide superior service to customers in accordance with the Bank's required service standards.
  • Process and follow through customer requests and enquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise the operation and sales activities of staff to ensure full compliance with both external regulatory codes/ordinance & internal compliance policies, standards, guidelines & procedures, particularly those applicable to the course of selling, i.e. sales staff's licensing and fitness & properness, KYC, FNA, anti-money laundering & documentation completeness in a/c opening & in each deal.
  • Improve control and compliance quality for sales and branch operation through leadership, education, on-going monitoring & effective remedial actions.
  • Comply with the registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA, if require. This includes compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code of Conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC.


Requirements
  • With experience on direct sales leadership on Consumer Banking products
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in consumer banking at executive level, including at least 3 years in sales management
  • Good education background, preferably up to University Level.
  • Preferably be registered RI (Regulated Activities: Type 1 & 4) with passes in the following professional qualifications:
  • HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8; or equivalent
