  • Manage BAU operations with a strong emphasis on control, efficiency, capacity planning, global best practice, process alignment and regulatory targets
  • Work closely with regional business lead and other support functions in Hong Kong to develop, agree and implement key strategies to improve Clients Service, Control and Productivity
  • Manage the change agenda, including global strategic implementations, key regional/local projects (incl FO and other infrastructure initiatives) and some more tactical solutions
  • Promote & implement the global and regional target operating model through process centralization, system implementation and offshoring
  • Ensure highest level of customer service is delivered liaising closely with the Client executive / OCRM for Priority clients
  • Work very closely with the technology teams to ensure all change and BAU activities are delivered smoothly, efficiently and pro-actively
  • Maintain and develop a positive and professional working relationships with all team members 
  • Provide training and guidance to team member to ensure they understand and deliver on global, regional and local plans, best practice and operating model, and that they work as a joined up, cohesive team 
  • Assist the business to remain compliant with Global Operations requirements and receive no audit points
  • Escalation point for Sales and Trading on operational issues for Delta One products


Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in a trading support or client-facing financial services role
  • Strong project management skills, manage deliverable and timeline
  • Tech savvy and has experience in leading large and small scale projects including analyzing technical requirement to improve front to back processes requiring in depth knowledge of trade capture and risk processes
  • Understanding of derivatives and cash securities operations and administration across financial institutions
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to tailor communications to a senior client operational audience
  • Strong knowledge of market conventions, operational risk, and rules surrounding derivatives trading execution, confirmation, margining and settlement
  • Ability to drive positive changes forward, including through indirect influence across functions and groups at all levels
  • Ability to quickly gain and articulate a detailed understanding of trade lifecycle and operational processes relevant to clients
  • Strong analytical ability to conduct root-cause analysis and drive remediation of client issues from this
  • Ability to prioritize competing client requests in a pressurized client facing environment
  • Proactive, self-starter with passion for delivering excellence in client service
  • Able to understand and work across the diverse perspectives of a global set of clients, colleagues and stakeholders
