Transaction Capture Sr Mgr
  • Responsible for oversight of Delta 1 trading and sales team support - team location based in HK providing to sales and trading in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Australia
  • Manage Post-execution relationship management team  for Citi's Institutional Client Group platinum clients, covering Derivatives and Delta 1. Provide operational and regulatory performance metrics to internal audiences and partner operations groups
  • Partner with Citi operations and Technology managers to identify and to deploy strategic solutions to improve Clients Service, Control and Productivity
  • Partner with business to provide solutions on new products and markets
  • Providing strategy and direction to D1 Operations to achieve best-in-class Service to both of our external and internal Clients
  • Creation and co-ordination of cross-asset operational communication to Citi's clients on relevant market initiatives and regulation
  • Escalation point for Sales and Trading  on operational and regulatory reporting issues for D1 products
  • Monitor Citi's operational performance against both Client expectations and regulatory requirements with a focus on continuous improvement and remediation of
  • Provide leadership to Citi operations staff in Client-facing and trading/sales support roles
  • Understand and communicate the differentiated operational challenges, opportunities and issues across Citi's product offerings and business lines for APAC region
  • Work as part of a diverse, global team providing market-leading Post-execution Trade Support and Client Service
  • Key partnership role with Delta 1 business and technology reengineering the  Equities platform, Equities growth is key part of Citi's strategic growth plan


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a trading support or client-facing financial services role
  • Strong managerial skills minimum 2 years' experience in supervising Middle Office or Operations teams
  • Tech savvy and has experience in leading large and small scale projects including analyzing technical requirement to improve front to back processes requiring in depth knowledge of trade capture and risk processes
  • Understanding of derivatives and cash securities operations and administration across financial institutions
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to tailor communications to a senior client operational audience
  • Strong knowledge of market conventions, operational risk, and rules surrounding derivatives trading execution, confirmation, margining and settlement
  • Ability to drive positive changes forward, including through indirect influence across functions and groups at all levels
  • Ability to quickly gain and articulate a detailed understanding of trade lifecycle and operational processes relevant to clients
  • Strong analytical ability to conduct root-cause analysis and drive remediation of client issues from this
  • Ability to prioritize competing client requests in a pressurized client facing environment
  • Proactive, self-starter with passion for delivering excellence in client service
  • Able to understand and work across the diverse perspectives of a global set of clients, colleagues and stakeholders
