Overview A leading global bank is looking for an experience FX / derivative / interest rate trader for their treasury team

The firm

Our client is a leading global bank, with one of the largest customer bases in Japan and a global network of financial and business centres. Due to market growth, an experience trader with proven track record is needed to join their team

Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and implementing trading/hedging strategies across a wide range of products and work close with the sales team

  • Analyse foreign exchange/ interest rate movements and take appropriate action to generate income

  • Interactive closely with internal team to identify and interpret market specific information

  • Prepare market updates and identify market sentiment via research, valuation and data analysis

Profile

The person

This is a position which requires Detail-oriented and a self-initiator with strong analytical and interpersonal skill. You will also be a good team player who innovates and looks for new solutions to existing problems

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting

  • Minimum 3-5 years of solid trading experiences in FX / Interest rate / Derivatives

  • Demonstrate FX / interest rate / derivatives research skills to provide insightful trading ideas in a fast pace trading environment

  • Can work independently and report to senior management

  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

  • Hardworking, responsible and able to work under pressure
