We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Third Party Engagement Manager .

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Develop and Implement at Target Operating Model Design and Governance Framework.
  • Track, and report against progress on contract negotiations.
  • Train, advise and help country leads navigate HSBC procurement
  • Third Party Service Management with Insurance IT works and working with third party service providers.
  • Establish appropriate governance to track, escalate and feedback performance to third party service providers
  • Assist, train and advise Third Party Risk Owners on how to comply with HSBC and Insurance IT policy
    regarding Third party Risk
  • Establish appropriate governance to track, escalate and feedback performance to Third Party Risk Owners
  • Plans and analyses costs, tracking operating and capital spend, and tracks reporting to financial business case commitments Oversees the tracking of Contracts and third Parties risks, issues, dependencies, assesses the impact of health of contract pipeline and takes action to minimise impact of delays, actively challenging and removing obstacles


Qualifications

Requirements

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Science, Business Administration, Social Sciences in psychology, economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent experience in Procurement, Vendor and Third Party services, and Vendor Risk operating in a global environment with strong performance track record of in a global, regional and local structure.
  • Insurance, Financial Services Industry, and technology experience
  • Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and changing priorities.
  • Ability to bring analytical rigour, structure and effective solutions to poorly-defined problems
  • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of building and motivating high performance teams in the Technology space
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, persuading and communication skills, applicable through multiple channels such as written, spoken, workshops, presentations
  • Excellent team leader and player, able to lead others into action, and with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to find ways of solving complex Technology and delivery problems, or preempting these problems.
  • Knowledge of the Insurance business lines, programmes and external environments would be an advantage.
