We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Technology Product Specialist .

Principal responsibilities

  • Work with Product Owners and DevOps teams, and responsible for the delivery, ongoing success and continuous improvement of a discrete set of products or business services, or shared products or platforms or environments that are used or consumed by other DevOps Teams.
  • Accountable with the Architecture of Cards or Product lead to review requirements from a testability perspective and formulate the non functional testing strategy.
  • Accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency, such as in line with published standards and guidelines and, with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives.
  • Work with the product owner to ensure that work is deconstructed and translated into development activities across teams.
  • Accountable for ensuring that all activities performed by Teams adhere to the relevant Service Management Standards, and high data quality exists in Service Management systems of record.
  • Work with product owner and team to ensure that high levels of automation are implemented and maintained across the teams.
  • Work with product owner and team to ensure that service levels are maintained and improved.
  • Participate as part of the DevOps leadership team in ensuring consistent process and practice is maintained across the DevOps team.
  • Accountable for ensuring that test strategies across DevOps activities are in place across teams for the products they support
  • Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent and data residency that are applicable


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines is preferred
  • Clear understanding of the drivers of cost and the relationship with business benefits
  • Ability to communicate complex subjects clearly
  • Ability to lead and manage extremely complex project implementation
  • Ability to lead an offshore based project delivery team
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proactive and self motivated approach, with the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills in spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills
  • Extensive experience in Information Technology or banking or risk areas with proven track record on managing Retail Banking and Wealth Management programme, preferably in a global environment
  • In depth and extensive experience of Information Technology development life cycle, process management, reporting and communications
  • Good understanding of DevOps and Agile methodology
  • Experience in team and department transformation planning and execution journey
  • Previous working experience in Cards application system and related services is preferred
