We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Technical Product Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Build and align service release and delivery plan with business strategies, goals, and objectives.
  • Understand Business production system service objectives, critical process deadlines, and internal and external reporting needs to ensure that their requirements and priorities are effectively supported.
  • Manage the correction of live issues with minimum disruption to the business.
  • Manage expectations, results and impacts of agreed outcomes, thinking ahead to identify and overcome potential issues.
  • Manage the service delivery alliance with Application Solution Architects, Digital Platform Support, Global Application Support, and Managed Service Providers.
  • Drive continuous improvement of application services and processes by leveraging processes, practices and tools established globally.
  • Drive innovation and automation through DevOps and AWS adoption to cut down the release costs, improve time to market, and shorten application delivery time.
  • Drive a high standard of IT System Acceptance and License to Operate in products with increase in platform stability and operational efficiencies.
  • Drive a cross functional IT group to improve the pro-active end to end service and recovery with the fastest possible restoration plan.
  • Promote Digital technology vision and alignment with the other business lines.

  • Solid experience in managing and leading mid to large size projects and cross functional teams.
  • Proven track record to manage and work in high pressure situations with tight timescales of recovery supporting tier 0 services critical to the bank.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful, complex technical programmes and projects.
  • Proven track record of managing application service release and deliver in complex systems across multiple tiers throughout the development, testing, staging, and production cycles.
  • Ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills leading teams to recover stricken services whilst articulating with confidence the recovery plan to senior IT management.
  • Strong application development background with a solid understanding of development methodologies
  • Strong application support background with client facing internet and back office applications.
  • Understanding of the design and implementation of proactive monitoring and health checks
