The Role Responsibilities

Strategy & CIO Office Support
  • Develop communication strategy and content to promote GCNA/ Hong Kong T&I to various stakeholders, including (1) regular updates/ newsletters/ infographics on GCNA T&I achievements/ progresses to Group and regional senior management teams, (2) promote new T&I capabilities, important reminders and successful initiatives to GCNA/ Hong Kong -wide staff, (3) regular updates to GCNA/ Hong Kong T&I staff on tone from top/ important notice/ initiatives/ organisational announcement/ engagement activities
  • Stay tuned to the latest FinTech trend to develop relevant communication messages
  • Manage and create Bridge page content/ modify layout to facilitate sharing of useful information/ success stories of team efforts across the Bank
  • Support the development of materials needed for internal/ external meetings/ interviews, such as script, PowerPoint, etc., as well as collection and consolidation of information
  • Stay tuned to the latest FinTech trend to develop relevant communication messages
  • Support external visits, client-staff events and workshops
Project Support for Digital Innovation and Transformation
  • Keep abreast with the latest trend of financial industry and SCB initiatives on digitalization and innovation to support the development of HK strategy on digitalization and innovation
  • Project management support role on key digital initiatives in Hong Kong
  • Support managing Book of Work and stakeholder communication by cooperating with Group T&I Communications/ local Corporate Affairs to align country-wide communication strategies, such as Group initiatives, tone from top, conduct, etc
People Agenda Support
  • Develop and implement staff engagement activities, e.g. townhalls, offsites, trainings, awards, contests, etc.
  • Develop communication messages to promote People strategies, including Diversity & Inclusion, training, etc.
  • Co-ordinate forum e.g. T&I Bi-monthly Status update forum to support good collaboration among various teams in T&I
  • Full awareness of the Bank's risk management approach through 1st, 2nd, 3rd line of defence and stay risk vigilant.
  • Uphold highest level of code of conduct to ensure full compliance with regulations, policies, procedures, and speak up if necessary.
  • Comply with applicable Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and, in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and Global Client Services Head
Our Ideal Candidate

  • Tertiary education (preferably bachelor's degree in technology/Financial)
  • Self-motivated, quick starter with high standard of work quality
  • Being energetic, passionate, creative and flexile to achieve collective goals
  • Strong change management, analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on attitude, not shy away from deep dive if needed
  • Strong business sense to understand impact and risks in the Banking environment
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English is a must
  • Proficiency with Cantonese a big plus
