Senior Vice President - Markets (Trading Operations - Night Desk)
Job Responsibilities: - Lead a night shift team efficiently and perform trading, clearing and risk management functions during After-hours trading
- Ensure that the day-to-day operations of the night shift are managed effectively and meet the set objectives
- Supervise night shift operations and ensure a smooth operations of the derivatives market· Maintain a stable night shift team with good morale and reasonable staff turnover rate
- Supervise Exchange and Clearing Participants' night shift activities in compliance with the rules and regulations in the derivatives market
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for the implementation of new initiatives
- Keep abreast of the latest international trends on regulatory development related to derivatives market operations
- Review and recommend relevant changes in policies and procedures for the efficient and effective management of the market operations
- Liaise with relevant statutory bodies, market practitioners, participants and professional organizations on derivatives market related matters
Job Requirements: - University Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or related subject
- Good understanding of the derivatives market practices, derivatives products and trading platform
- Sound knowledge of the derivatives market operations and regulations
- At least 15-year relevant experience, of which at least 10 years at management level, preferably in well-established financial organizations
- Extensive experience and knowledge on the derivatives market and regulatory environment
- Good managerial, analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Sound judgment and decision making and with good problem-solving skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an asset
