We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Test Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery and management of the delivery of testing for large scale projects within the Change Management and Delivery portfolio
  • Implementation of HSBC Testing Best Practices ensuring a standardised testing methodology, test and requirement traceability and project governance process exist
  • Support with implementing the goals, strategy and direction of the Best Practice test team in line with overall goals of Change Management and Delivery
  • Coordinate and manage Test Analysts and Test Managers within global locations
  • Responsible for resourcing, recruitment and training of staff for projects and within the wider Best Practice testing team
  • Communications to key stakeholders internally and externally including attendance at Steering groups where relevant
  • Provision of accurate Reporting Management Information to stakeholder and clients
  • Estimation and Planning of Testing resources for projects including supply and demand forecasting
  • Interfaces with Business and Information Technology Stakeholders to ensure the end to end testing controls and tollgates are in place, release schedule, platform availability and any issues that could impact testing delivery
  • Cross project dependencies are identified and managed
  • Ensures that all testing adheres to industry standards and challenges where appropriate across divisions and Group
  • Building strong relationships with internal Business and Operational Teams, external Clients and Technology
  • Leads, motivates and develops team members to create a high performing team
  • Implement strong planning and resource forecasting techniques


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields
  • Experience of managing test teams across multiple sites
  • Business Knowledge of Funds Administration
  • In Depth knowledge of the project and test lifecycle
  • Delivered Testing for complex programmes and projects
  • Be able to communicate at different levels of an organisation from senior management level to technical and business teams
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Understand Release Management and ,or Configuration Management
  • Experience of Stakeholder Management and conflict resolution
  • Ability to influence and drive forward initiatives
