Role Overview
The Senior Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining trading servers and applications, managing weekend operations including platform migrations and upgrades, and supporting both internal and external trading platforms. The role requires coordination with development and infrastructure teams, handling incident and problem management, and ensuring continuous operation during on-call and weekends.

Key Skills & Experience

• Manage monitoring of trading servers and applications for FI, FX, Derivatives, and Sales
• Support production systems for ION Trading platform and internal trading applications
• Coordinate between development and infrastructure teams
• Handle incident management, problem management, and release workflows
• Manage escalation processes for global teams
• Perform daily health checks and automate monitoring processes
• Troubleshoot and maintain deployment scripts
• Provide oncall and weekend support for incidents and releases

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor trading servers and applications to ensure uptime and performance
• Manage weekend platform operations including migrations, upgrades, and data centre activities
• Support application deployment and perform daily health checks
• Troubleshoot and update scripts for deployment and system maintenance
• Escalate application bugs and coordinate with development teams
• Provide oncall and weekend incident support
• Maintain operational documentation for incident and ticketing processes
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies

Requirements

• Right to work in Asia
• Proven experience as an Application Engineer or similar role in trading environments
• Familiarity with FX, FI, Derivatives, and Sales trading platforms
• Ability to support hybrid working arrangements
• Available for a 2-week contract starting 09/08/2026
