Senior Technical Specialist - Digital Business Services

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Technical Specialist.

Principal Responsibilities

This role is responsible for various telecoms related activities such as:

  • Vendor Management
  • Stake holder Management 
  • Incident Management & Support 
  • Change Management
  • Represent Telecoms on technical calls and manage escalations  
  • Provision and/or 2nd/3rd line design / support of services global telecoms environment
  • Drive MI activities for streamlining processes
  • Lead Monitoring team and guide them. This can include both the development of new functions and facilities and the on-going systems support of live systems
  • This may involve working as a Lead technical specialist on support activities involved in planning, research, evaluation and design of Telecoms infrastructure


  • Overall understanding of Telecommunication Services infrastructure and the supporting infrastructure to be able to prioritize work load
  • Good Understanding of Telecoms hardware and Software and general IT Support principles
  • Have sufficient knowledge of IT Operations understanding policy, processes, procedures and systems deployed
  • In depth knowledge of best practice within a Telecommunication Support & Operations environment
  • Practical experience in one of the technologies within Telecommunication Services environment especially support activities related to Cloud, Extranet connectivity, DC environment, Contact Center / recording etc related troubleshooting and problem resolution 
  • Have excellent knowledge of the Cisco ASA, Checkpoint Firewalls, Enterprise Network, Routing Protocols, Cloud Network
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for IT investments and alternatives in the language of the business
