We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • The role is primarily responsible for the Risk Weighted Assets reporting for both Group and the HKMA.
  • Provide direction and support and play a key role with the regulatory reporting teams to ensure regulatory returns are prepared in accordance with the completion instructions and other relevant supervisory policy and guidance issued by the HKMA and in compliance with the Banking Capital Rules.
  • Manage the Pillar 3 disclosure in accordance with the requirement of the Banking Disclosure Rules.
  • Manager and support the Central Stress testing team on stress testing reporting to the UK Prudential Regulatory Authority and the HKMA.
  • Provide support to the annual operating plan process and monthly Risk Weighted Assets reporting for senior management, and analysis as required.
  • Manage and lead the implementation of regulatory development and emerging themes to address regulatory change which impact Risk Weighted Assets reporting.
  • Manage and support various Regulatory and Strategy and Global market business driven projects associated with Basel 3 Risk Weighted Assets reporting.
  • Manage complex Risk Weighted Assets issues and develop resolution where analysis of situations or data requires it.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSBC internal controls and other internal governance, implement and observe Group compliance policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal and external auditors and external regulators.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Solid experience in counterparty credit risk and market risk highly preferred.
  • Prior working knowledge of Global Banking and Markets products and systems highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret rules and regulations, identify issues and formulate approaches to address them.
  • Ability to highlight problems, offer innovative and practical solutions and drive through their execution in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical, sound judgment, decision making and problem solving abilities.
  • Independent and able to work under pressure to tight timeframes with multiple deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skill with strong influencing, interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
