We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Project Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​ Management of the entire project deployment life cycle, from local requirements gathering through to local development and implementation
  • Contribution to the realization of TFX products, Friends & Friends, Wires, and Transfer through customer and staff channel deploying to countries in timely manner.
  • Assist to provide technical analysis and guidance to business analysts and deployment engineering
  • Liaison with IT teams and business related to location specific requirements, and coordinate with global teams to ensure consistency of these requirements
  • Coordinate with other IT teams in the region, Hong Kong, China, and India to ensure that solutions meet global requirements, and cultivate effective working relationships with business users, vendors and other IT teams, specifically, but not limited to, Global and local Global Banking and Markets IT teams and Global and local HUB team
  • Managing project schedule, budget, together with risk and issues. Besides, the candidate would drive for actions, and be communicative to counterparts, business, and senior management.
  • Chairing regular project workgroup meeting, and securing appropriate resources, and attending regular project steering committee meetings


Qualifications
Requirements
  • ​ Proven background of work within a banking environment, including products experience in Foreign Exchange, and international payment
  • Ability to work with other development teams, both on a horizontal basis front office to front office, as well as a vertical basis front to back office
  • Ability to manage relationships with operations, branch, call centre, GSP, P2G, or direct banking
  • Ability to manage relationships with wealth management
  • Ability to set direction and see efforts through to implementation
  • Ability to set role model of can do attitude, positive motivation
  • Ability to articulate, both oral and written, the objectives, issues, obstacles, resolution
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese
  • Ability to work with external vendor, or other IT teams
  • Ability to influence progress and priorities with internal IT groups as well as wealth management
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing a software packageas part of Global team the candidate is expected occasionally to participate in meetings, conference calls outside Hong Kong office hours
  • Willingness to travel when necessary
  • Self motivation, enthusiasm and proven rapid learning capabilities
