Exciting opportunity to join a leading Asia-dedicated Asset Management firm with over USD 6 bil in AUM! Our client is a well-performing and growing hedge fund, focusing on long-short equities, with offices in Hong Kong and Beijing. As part of their expansion, they are looking to onboard a Senior Operations Manager who will work together with a team on all operations matters.
Responsibilities:
- Perform fund operations tasks including NAV calculation, trade settlement, cash and positions reconciliation, invoice processing, cash management, corporate action monitoring
- Liaise with executing brokers, prime brokers, fund administrator and system vendors to resolve trade issues and trade breaks
- Compile ad hoc reports and operation metrics as required
- Work closely with other teams such as trading, finance, risk, legal, compliance, business development to ensure operational process is smooth
- Assist on new fund launch and new brokers account opening
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in the finance industry either from a top tier fund administrator, top prime broker/investment bank or buy side firm, with AUM in equity long-short of no less than USD1bn
- Knowledge in Linedata is a plus
- UCITS experience is preferred, but not a must
- VBA skills are a plus
- Hard working, adapt to high pressure working environment
- Independent with strong team spirit
