The Risk Management Group is an independent, centralised unit responsible for assessing and monitoring risks across Macquarie. This includes market and liquidity risk, credit risk, compliance risk and operational risk. Risk Management Group personnel liaise closely with all operating areas to ensure risks are understood and properly managed.

Our Financial Crime Compliance team are highly experienced professionals who are respected as true advisors to our diverse regional business. We are looking to add a senior member to this team who has extensive experience of financial crime compliance advisory, ideally regionally and able to take a lead role in the region.

You will be responsible for all aspects of financial crime compliance for our Asia business across anti money laundering, counter terrorism financing, transaction fraud, anti-bribery corruption, sanctions and more. Taking the lead on implementation of initiatives. You will become a trusted advisor to the business and operational on-boarding teams while delivering training, maintaining policy and procedures in line with regulatory change in the region and globally.

We would like this person to be based in Hong Kong & expect this senior role to need at least 6 years of financial crime compliance advisory experience. We always look for proactive passionate people who enjoy continuous learning and can manage a diverse workload working well within a strong team. Due to the stakeholders of this team we are seeking someone with exceptional communication in both Mandarin and English. You will be working within our Commodities and Global Markets function therefore you will need to have experience of this product, business, stakeholder and regulatory environment.
