Manage and develop the relationship of the HNW Brokers in order to increase the sales volume and explore the sales opportunities in WS and non-WS business; lead and support BDM team to achieve assigned business goals

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales Head to formulate and implement partnership development strategies with activities according to strategic vision
  • Devise and implement sales plan to increase share of wallet with key business partners
  • Lead and drive BDMs to achieve pre-committed business targets
  • Monitor BDM activities and productivity metrics and organize various engagement activities including training for brokers, product, sales operation and process, etc.
  • Enhance capabilities and manage on-going development plan of BDM subordinates
  • Supervise and provide guidance to BDMs on regulation and compliance related matters
  • Build up and maintain solid relationship and rapport with key personnel from business partners and internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with Underwriting and Case Management Team to provide day-to-day support for business partners
  • Identify the needs of business partners to further explore new product concept and sales enablers to improve channel efficiency
  • Provide feedback to respective departments on areas of improvement in order to enhance our product range and services standard
  • Handle and resolve all complaints timely and properly; feedback to identify improvement areas and develop action plan accordingly
  • Understand the market / partners’ behavior changes in the HNW market to ensure AIA’s competitiveness and responsive actions to be taken


Minimum Job Requirements:

  • University / College graduate plus at least 8 years relevant experience and 2 years of managerial experience preferred
  • Good organizing and management skills
  • Good insurance and investment product knowledge
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese / Mandarin
  • Working knowledge of MS office applications
