The Senior Credit Risk Officer will be responsible for assessing the credit standing of the loan and derivative counterparties, understanding financial markets and the risks involved in financial instruments, demonstrating leadership and have the ability to form strong partnerships across different internal functions. The jobholder will assess large, complex lending and derivative structures for sophisticated clients across Asia. As a senior member of the team, the Senior Credit Officer will play a critical role in analysing these risks and guiding team members in the assessment of structured transactions.
The successful candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience in a Risk or Credit position gained in Wealth Management, Investment Banking or Corporate Finance. Applicants will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of financial statements, have strong analytical skills, be comfortable analysing complex structures and have an understanding of the risks involved in collateralised lending transactions. Candidates will have leadership and people management skills as well as excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
