The Job:
  • Perform business analysis, review and prepare user requirements for project implementation, in accordance with business requirements from users of Life Operations
  • Review system design documentation to ensure the functional design meets the end user expectation
  • Identify process improvements to implement operational efficiencies.
  • Create user acceptance test plans and scenarios, coordinate and conduct testing with business units
  • Identify key issues and risks throughout the project cycle
  • Serve as a liaison between the business and IT to provide solutions and address project issues
  • Prepare training materials and provide training to business users

The Person:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Systems or technical related field
  • Strong analytical skills to conceptualize complex insurance logic and identify impacted scenarios.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Life Insurance industry with a strong understanding in life insurance operations
  • Past integration and Life Administration experience is an asset
  • Must be proactive and self-driven with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be resilient in the face of complex problems and demanding deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Business Analyst
