My client a leading global insurance group, which provides Insurance and Reinsurance products and services, is looking to recruit an experienced Audit professional to join its Internal Audit team in Hong Kong.
The Senior Audit Manager will be responsible for conducting and managing audit activities across Asia assessing the effectiveness of relevant processes and control and contributing to a successful audit report. As a Senior Audit Manager you will manage a team, leading and performing audits as assigned with responsibility for managing audits from planning to final audit reporting. The role offers the opportunity for travel across Asia, interacting with people across different business lines and corporate functions. The ability to analyse, structure and assess difficult circumstances, to have meaningful dialogs with stakeholders and to work in a collaborative and result orientated team are key success capabilities required for this position.
The successful candidate will be a degree holder (those with a professional certification such as CPA, CA, CIA are preferred) with at least 6 years’ Audit experience gained in an Insurance, Reinsurance or Financial Services environment and will possess at least 2 years’ managerial experience. Applicants will need to demonstrate a solid knowledge and understanding of Insurance and Reinsurance, internal control and governance as well as financial and regulatory requirements across Asia. Candidates with less experience may be considered for an AVP level opportunity.
