We are seeking a seasoned finance professional well‑versed in SFC Type 9 regulatory compliance and end‑to‑end private fund accounting and reporting to join our core finance team and support the licensed entity’s compliant operations and day‑to‑day fund activities.

1. End‑to‑end accounting for the SFC Type 9 licensed entity : Perform day‑to‑day accounting, expense recognition, payment‑receipt control and general ledger reconciliation for the Hong‑Kong‑licensed asset management entity. Ensure full adherence to Hong Kong accounting standards and SFC financial regulatory requirements to maintain accurate books and regulatory compliance of the licensed firm.
2. Financial reporting and regulatory submissions : Execute monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial close; prepare corporate financial statements, fund operational reports and investor reporting packages. Support SFC annual financial filings, statutory audits and preparation of documentation for regulatory enquiries, ensuring all submissions comply with Type 9 licensing rules.
3. Tax compliance and filing : Manage computation, submission and documentation of Hong‑Kong‑licensed entity’s profits tax, salaries tax and other tax obligations. Conduct tax compliance reviews to mitigate tax and regulatory risks and safeguard continuity of the firm’s SFC licence status.
4. Cash and ledger management : Oversee bank account operations, bank reconciliation and cash ledger updates for both the corporate entity and investment funds. Document financial workflows and enhance asset‑management‑specific internal controls aligned with Type 9 risk‑management requirements.
5. Internal and external stakeholder coordination : Liaise with external auditors, accountants, banks, the compliance team, investment teams and investors. Support due‑diligence exercises, annual audits and ad‑hoc reviews by preparing relevant financial documentation and responding to enquiries.
6. Financial record‑keeping and process improvement : Maintain orderly financial records, vouchers and reports. Continuously refine private‑asset‑management‑oriented finance workflows and iterate finance infrastructure to accommodate business growth.

1. Minimum 5 years of full‑time working experience within an SFC Type‑9‑licensed Hong‑Kong asset‑management firm. Deep familiarity with Type‑9‑specific financial regulatory rules and compliance obligations for licensed entities. Candidates without relevant experience will not be considered.
2. Strong working knowledge of Hong Kong GAAP and industry‑specific accounting standards for Hong Kong asset‑management businesses.
3. Proven hands‑on experience participating in full‑cycle month‑end close, statutory year‑end audit and SFC regulatory filing for a Type 9 licensee, with solid understanding of Hong‑Kong fund‑related taxation and internal‑control frameworks.

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines. Professional qualifications including HKICPA, ACCA or CPA are preferred.
2. Proficient in finance systems and advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, functional modelling). Ability to independently handle full‑set accounting and complex fund‑finance matters.
