Responsible for tax accounting and tax compliance matters (including preparation and review of tax provision and tax returns, handling of tax enquiries from internal or external parties) for the Bank and its regional group entities.
Take lead in tax related projects, work with business and supporting teams to prepare for anticipated tax developments and to support the group's tax related initiatives and compliance enhancements.
Handle corporate tax advisory, transfer-pricing, group restructuring and corporate tax planning, work with internal business teams and external advisors to deliver business objectives while ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
Participate in QI, FATCA, CRS advisory and compliance management and reporting
Support transfer-pricing documentation preparation and BEPS compliance implementation of the group.
Participate in business development and product design.
Monitor and provide updates to management on changes of the tax regulations and assess the relevant tax impacts to the group.
Assist in tax related management reporting and other ad hoc assignments.
Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance or any other business related discipline and with professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA).
At least 3 years' relevant experience including experience in a Big 4 or recognizable accounting firm; experience in banking and financial industry would be preferred.
Strong technical knowledge in HK tax and/or BEPS/transfer pricing; knowledge in PRC tax, FATCA and CRS is desirable.
Experience in handling cross-border transactions would be preferred.
Solid project management experience is preferred.
Well-organized, independent, mature, detail-minded with strong self-initiative.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong numerical skills, competence with MS Office, especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with an excellent command of verbal and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
Able to work effectively under critical deadlines and multi-tasks, strong learning ability and a good team player.
Candidates with less relevant experiences would be considered as Manager.
