Securities Finance Sales Trader, International Bank

Responsibilities

• Oversee a trading book, generate revenues and manage risk to ensure proper liquidity management of our Asia EQD business 
• Coordinate with Sales, Treasury and our business partners across other regions and businesses 
• Trade a book and deliver on budgeted revenues by properly managing the book risks
• Establish and maintain key relationships across the Funding community in Asia 
• Anticipate client demand in each respective product/market
• Coordinate with desk analysts as needed and with sales to develop the franchise
• Leading strong governance and controls:
• Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
• Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance 
• Work closely with the IT department to contribute to the technology development of the activity 
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding 

Profile Required

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in a related role
• Knowledge of respective products and clients
• Native English language skills , (Chinese is a plus)
• Thorough understanding of the technical details and risk management of Securities Finance and
• Delta One products and strategies.
• In depth Asian market knowledge.
• Required licensing and registrations as applicable
• Advance analytical and numerical competency
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to analyze and pitch situations and determine suitable counterparties
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, booking systems, trading protocol, closing technicalities
• Coding knowledge (Python, other)
